From the Lane…
Well, friends, the leaves are turning golden along the Bow River, and there’s that glorious autumn crispness in the Calgary air — which can only mean one thing: it’s October at Paradise Lanes! This is our favourite time of year. Thanksgiving weekend brings the return of the beloved Autumn Open, our Tuesday leagues are rolling stronger than ever, and of course, Halloween is going to be an absolute scream this year. Grab your bowling shoes, dust off that costume, and come be part of the fun. We’ll save a lane for you.

NO-TAP TUESDAYS — DROP IN & ROLL!
Join our welcoming No-Tap Handicapped Drop-In League every Tuesday evening. No-tap rules mean if you leave a left or right corner pin on your first ball, it counts as a strike — and our handicap system keeps everyone competitive. New bowlers always welcome — no partner needed, just show up!
ATHABASKIN WIT
By Bow River Brewing
This October, we’re proud to be carrying the Athabaskin Wit from our friends at Bow River Brewing right here in Calgary. A hazy, citrusy wheat ale brewed with prairie heart — crisp, refreshing, and perfect for celebrating your strikes and spares. Find it at the Paradise Lanes bar all month long.
Sip it. Roll it. Love it.
LANE TIPS FROM THE PROS
Keep your steps smooth and consistent for better accuracy at the foul line.
Use the arrows on the lane, not the pins, to aim your throw for consistent targeting.
A high finish means a powerful, accurate delivery every time — extend that arm!
